Oncology theory and clinical technology
Core course for doctors: 4–6 sessions a week — case reviews, guidelines, and target delineation and planning techniques.
TRAINING & SCIENCE
We train our own doctors, medical physicists and nurses under unified programs, run clinical research and publish the results — including our own SCART technique.
JANUSYN ACADEMY
Taught by front-line experts from China and abroad, on a long-term schedule
Core course for doctors: 4–6 sessions a week — case reviews, guidelines, and target delineation and planning techniques.
A separate program for nurses: managing patients during treatment, handling complications, care and communication with families.
Dosimetry, machine quality control and treatment planning — a field the industry is short of people in.
Hands-on training for therapists: patient setup, image verification and running sessions on different machines.
For center administrators: department economics, patient flow, service and work with partner hospitals.
Sessions are taught by specialists who treat patients themselves. The programs run for years rather than a single seminar — that is how the network keeps one consistent standard of quality.
RESEARCH
Three research and education platforms
Responsible for launching projects, supporting studies and continuing medical education across the group.
Molecular and pathology base: research materials are prepared here and hypotheses are tested before the clinical stage.
The clinical team runs more than ten studies at once — ongoing work, not one-off initiatives for a publication.

OUR OWN TECHNIQUE
The problem we ran into is familiar to every oncologist: very large tumors, recurrences, and cases where conventional methods no longer work. No existing approach could cover a large volume without harming neighboring organs, so the team developed its own technique — SCART.
In 2022, the work “SCART radiotherapy technique for ultra-large, recurrent and refractory solid tumors” won the “Best Paper of the Year” award with the top score at the annual congress of The Radiosurgery Society. The team also ran a training session and presented the technique on the first day of the congress — a rare recognition for work from China at this forum.
The first publication on SCART in China appeared in the peer-reviewed journal Frontiers in Oncology: “Stereotactic Centralized Ablative Radiation Therapy (SCART): Phase I results of a new strategy for treating very large tumors”.
For how the technique works and when it applies, see the technology page — this page only covers where it came from and what it went through.
INTERNATIONAL PLATFORMS
International conferences, guideline work and a training base
At the 4th IAEA International Conference on Advances in Radiation Therapy, the group founder and vice-president for research gave invited talks on SBRT and the SCART technique. The conference brought together more than 600 specialists from 114 countries.
Group specialists sit on the working groups that prepare practical guidelines on radiosurgery physics and CyberKnife quality control. The updated North American edition has been published.
Created together with the system manufacturer. The base trains technical specialists, works through clinical protocols and gives centers a platform to exchange experience.
